Waiting for the West Wind in JERSEY!

NYCWaterShots took a trip down the shore and met a couple of guys from the NO FLAT EARTH SURF SHOP in Brick NJ. After what seemed like being in the car for days, we pulled up at a point in northern NJ, and found chest high perfect little peelers.

The overcast weather was forcast to stick around most of the day eventually clearing out for straight offshore and clear skies. We set out early AM thinking the weather was going to clear up!. Hours later the rain was still around and conditions seemed as if they were never going to improve. We headed further south, got some food, got introduced to NJ Taylor Ham or Pork Roll, don’t know the difference, and still not sure what the hell it actually is! Checked the surf in Bayhead and were greeted with overhead + bombs coming through. As the afternoon wore on, the rain finally let up and the waves got good! More pics!
