Wed Aug 18 “Bill” and surf update

Rockaway 91-95 streets

Still flat, but we should start to see a small pulse tomorow, building through Sunday. The swell will come up slowly on thursday then build quick on Friday and Saturday. We are looking at potentially 10-15ft on sat. and sun.Winds will turn offshore as the storm nears. Conditions could be epic!

Huricane “Bill”

Hurricane Bill is currently a Cat 4 Hurricane with sustained winds of 135 mph gusts to 160 mph, starting to turn to the WNW. The track of Bill is expected to take it between Bermuda and NC. This track could not be any better. Bill is forcast to gain strength as it enters an even more favorable enviroment. We could see Bill off our coast Saturday as a Cat 3 or 4. In that case the surf will be huge.
