CARTIER HEIST

Many of our favorite Rockaway Surf and Beach personalities took part in filming a trailer for what could become a major motion picture. Patrick Connolly, local lifeguard, surfer, actor, and writer along with fellow Rockaway local and talented actor Thaddeus Schenider have teamed up with John Veit to write a screenplay titled Cartier Heist.  The story is about things we all can relate to, waves, travel, and lots of trouble. Cartier Heist has been in the making for several years, now filming has begun and the premiere was shown in NYC last week. NYCWATERSHOTS was asked to take some still photos for the production to capture some of the action from different perspectives. Some of the familiar faces included none other than Alex “nycwipeout” “GSC” “blonde thunder from down under” Karinsky, 91 local Sean Flaherty, Mike “Angry smell” O’hara, local lifeguard, surf legend Mikey Geraghty and many more….
