Nobody knows how all the big surf forecast sites missed this one, but they did! 6-8 ft, clean offshores all day. I saw this one coming from a mile away, there was talk of a LOW so strong it had a pressure lower than most hurricanes. Not get waves? No matter how fast a system moves, if it is stronger than a hurricane we gonna get some surf! Here in Rockaway we had almost 2 ft of snow on the ground and pumping surf in the water! There were a few takers early in the morning but the work/fun ratio was not good. Keoni Singlehurst, Stef “lover”, and Joey “frokk” were the standouts all day!
