Tangle Free Leash from Surf More XM

There are a lot of choices of leashes on the market today. Many of which are very good. Surf More XM has always been a leader in leash design and performance, so when I recently bought the Tangle Free Leash, I was suspect.

We have all been caught by our own leash at the most in-opportune time, probably the set wave of the day. Right away you notice a small slider on the leash, has a little bit of weight to it, and contoured with purpose. The minute you start paddling you can feel the slider working, offering just enough resistance to keep the leash well behind the board and out of the way.

Surfing, you don’t even know its there. I surfed over 30 hours these past four days and not once was my leash even an issue. Normally I am constantly adjusting my leash, playing with it, and putting it back behind me.

1. Leashes have memory and its important to remember that when putting them away.
2. Its never good to wrap your leash around your board.
3. Try and store them hanging over a door or wrapped up loosely.
4. If you have wrapped them up, you can remove the bends by outstretching the cord a little, or let them lay straight for a few days.
